Use the Gemini CLI with Fig for live Google research on a brand site. Fig covers classic SERPs plus Google and ChatGPT visibility — it does not score Gemini answer mentions.

Fig is hosted research Gemini can call after you sign in: keywords, live Google results, and Google/ChatGPT mentions. Ask Gemini to brief the page; you (or Gemini in the repo) ship it. Do not invent a Gemini mention score.

Setup

  • Copy the setup prompt into Gemini.
  • Approve GitHub or Google sign-in when asked.
  • If remaining credits are $0, approve Checkout ($10 minimum, $20 pack).
  • Fig is prepaid credit, not a monthly seat. Checkout starts at $10; a $20 pack is the recommended default. Your agent spends the balance on live lookups, then asks you to approve Checkout again when remaining USD cannot cover the next call.
  • Fig does not guarantee rankings, citations, or traffic. It returns research data your agent can call. Humans approve sign-in and Checkout. The agent (or you) decides what to change on the site.

  • Check Google AI and ChatGPT mentions — skip Gemini mention scores; Fig does not return them.
  • Draft title, H1, and outline from the page-one formats that already win.
  • If credits cannot cover the next call, start Checkout and retry after I pay.
